Full-body skin check
Head to toe, every mole photographed and mapped so next year we can see what changed.
New or changing spot
A mole that looks different, a spot that bleeds or won’t heal. Seen within the week.
Acne
Teen or adult. Prescription plans that are realistic about your routine, and follow-ups until it’s clear.
Eczema & psoriasis
Flares, itch and the cycle of creams that stop working. We find the trigger and build a plan that lasts.
Rosacea
Flushing, redness and bumps, treated with prescriptions and, where it helps, vascular laser.
Skin cancer removal
Biopsies and excisions in our procedure room, with results explained by the doctor who did them.
Hair loss & nails
Thinning hair, scalp conditions and nail changes, with lab work when we need it.
Who you’ll see
Three dermatologists.No revolving door.
You see the same doctor every time, and the doctor who orders a biopsy is the one who calls you with the result.
Founder · Medical dermatology
Dr. Helen Marsh, MD, FAAD
Helen opened Linden in 2009 after twelve years in a hospital clinic. She sees the complicated cases: the rash three doctors couldn’t name, the eczema that never fully went away.
Skin cancer & surgery
Dr. Arjun Mehta, MD, FAAD
Arjun runs our skin-check and procedure days. He photographs every mole he checks, so “has it changed?” has an answer instead of a guess.
Cosmetic dermatology
Dr. Nia Brooks, MD
Nia does every injectable and laser treatment herself. Her patients say she is the one who talks them out of things, not into them.
Licensed aesthetician
Claire Duval, LE
Claire handles peels, microneedling and skincare plans, and keeps a written record of what your skin liked last time.
From our patients
“I was told my rosacea was “just sensitive skin” for ten years. Dr. Marsh had a plan after one visit, and it has worked.”

“Dr. Mehta found a spot on my back I would never have seen. It was out the same week. I book my skin check every spring now.”
“I wanted to look less tired, not different. Dr. Brooks talked me out of half of what I asked for, and I am glad she did.”
“Three microneedling sessions with Claire and my acne scars are finally something I don’t think about.”
Before you come in
Good questions,straight answers.
Something we haven’t covered? Call (503) 555-0142. A person answers.
Do I need a referral?
Most PPO plans don’t require one. Some HMO plans do. Give us your insurance details when you book and we’ll check before your visit, so there are no surprises.
Do you take my insurance?
Medical visits are billed to most major commercial plans and Medicare. Cosmetic treatments aren’t covered by insurance; their prices are listed on this page and confirmed before anything starts.
How soon can I be seen?
A spot that is new, changing or bleeding is seen within five working days. Routine skin checks and cosmetic visits are usually two to three weeks out. Call us and we’ll tell you the real wait.
What happens at a full-body skin check?
You change into a gown and the doctor checks your skin head to toe, including your scalp and the soles of your feet. Moles worth watching are photographed. It takes about twenty minutes, and you leave knowing what, if anything, needs a closer look.
Who does the cosmetic treatments?
Injectables and lasers are done by Dr. Brooks herself. Peels and microneedling are done by Claire, our licensed aesthetician, with a dermatologist on site.
Can I combine a medical and a cosmetic visit?
Yes. Mention it when you book and we’ll schedule them back to back. Insurance is billed for the medical part only.
